However i have found simply setting the trv to same schedule as the wall thermostat works reasonably well, and i had to set a temperature differential between the two, there is no real reason why the trv should not be set to geofence same as the nest gen 3, but have found it is not required, turning the nest gen 3 down as it detects the phone.
